Booking information and FAQS
CONSULTATIONS
To request a consultation for a face to face chat, hit the contact button and fill out the form. Please ensure to include the specifics of the design including placement on the body and sizing in CM! Please be definite and precise with your information. I also take Zoom meetings/consultations for those who are out of town or prefer it. Please note in your request if this is for you.
Some tattoos won’t require a consult, please fill out the online form anyway!
BOOKINGS
Once you are through the consultation process, a deposit will always be taken to secure your appointment. Deposits for single sittings are $100.00NZD and $200.00NZD for full day sittings. Deposits are non refundable and are always required to book a space. Five days notice is required to move a booking. Moving a booking within this time will forfeit your current deposit and a new one will be required to book a new space. So please be certain you can make the appointment time and date. All deposits must be made within 48 hours of making a booking or your space may be forfeited. For cancellations or postponements there will be a 3 strike policy, after 3 cancellations or postponements your deposit will be taken to cover admin and or drawing time. Payment will be required upfront from that point if there is to be any other appointments made.
PREPARATION
Please be well rested and ready for your appointment. Bring snacks and/or water for yourself, headphones if you like etc. Please wear warm and appropriate clothing with optimal access to the tattoo area. This ensures that you are comfortable and covered during the tattooing process. Please do not arrive for your appointment hungover or under the influence of any drugs,alcohol or late without notice. Your deposit will be forfeited and appointment canceled.
If you are sick or feeling off before your appointment, please let me know ahead of schedule and we can reschedule you. These things do happen. Do not turn up to your appointment ill, your deposit will be forfeited and appointment canceled.
PRICING
Pricing for tattooing will vary depending on the project size. My tattoos are mostly priced per piece and will be discussed in the consultation. My opening minimum charge is $250.00 NZD.
GRAPHIC DESIGN PRICING
Pricing for graphic design work starts at $35.00NZD. After designs are discussed and work is commenced, a split payment will be taken to start. Half of the agreed quote will be required upfront, with the balance required on completion. Please note any variables or ‘V.O’’ along the way, due to client changes or difficulty in design, may incur more charges.
AFTERCARE
Standard film
Remove your bandage after two hours, wash well with warm soapy water and pat dry with a clean towel. Air dry and apply a small amount of our recommended after-care cream. Repeat twice a day for 14 days. Please do not soak in water, do not swim in the sea or a swimming pool and do not expose your tattoo to the sun until completely healed. Do not itch, scratch or pick your tattoo. Keep clean at all times.
Saniderm.
Saniderm’s tattoo aftercare bandage creates a barrier around your freshly tattooed skin, protecting it from dust, bacteria, moisture, and other external irritants. This transparent tattoo covering is completely waterproof yet breathable to ensure that the skin receives the airflow it needs, to heal and remain sweat-free.
The first application can remain on for up to 24 hours. A second application can be worn for 3-5 days. Do not wear Saniderm for more than 7 days consecutively.
